Job Description

Kabala Consulting is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Information Technology Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring that systems run smoothly and securely. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional IT support.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-line support to users for hardware, software, and network issues. Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Software Installation and Upgrades: Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems. Ensure that all software is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
  • Network Management: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency and security.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage data backup and recovery processes to safeguard company data and ensure business continuity.
  • IT Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and IT security practices.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and end-users.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
