Job Description

Kabala Consulting is looking for a detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role involves overseeing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage Financial Transactions: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by analyzing historical data and projecting future financial outcomes.
  • Support Compliance and Audits: Ensure all financial transactions comply with legal and regulatory standards. Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Process Improvements: Identify areas where financial processes could be streamlined or automated, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other teams to provide financial insights and support budgeting needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial team members.
